Exodus, yes, that's what I've been experiencing for the past few weeks. Kudos to Moses and Co. for enduring 40 years. As for me, it's been a rollercoaster ride for me and my family. Here's a simple guide for house-moving noobs out there (Actually, it just sums up what I've gone thru thus far!)

Phase One: Planning renovation of new house's stuff
Phase Two: Planning removal of old house's stuff
Phase Three: Packing of stuff
Phase Four: Getting rid of useless/rotting stuff whilst packing
Phase Five: Seeing new house renovations gone acc to plan
Phase Six: Moving of useful stuff from old house to new one
Phase Seven: Clearing of old house to return to HDB
Phase Eight: Unprepared for cock ups
Phase Nine: Rectifying cock ups
Phase Ten: Praying against spirits of old house and praying for God' presence in new one
Phase God, please don't give us more stuff to attend to right now.

Basically, it's been a long story. Very stressed as I'm like the overseer of EVERYTHING since my father, bro and sis are very busy with work/ministry. Well, it's left to my mum and me to settle every thing including the kitchen sink (yes, literally). What I faced were tonnes of dust, for real! I sometimes feel like a vacuum cleaner that doesn't suck. Amidst all these, many things like spiritual oppression and attacks happened. Really no time to talk about the phases in detail yet, but it is a pain in the ass moving. Little wonder the people in the wilderness wanted to turn back! But I claim in faith that my new house is the land of milk and money honey... Amen!

Talking about all the hassles, waste and thrash; here's an awesome track by young metalheads Municipal Waste. They play old-school thrash metal like seasoned pros and rock like the 80s!! They are so good you want to sip your Kickapoo!!!

My final exam results were finally released last thursday and it was a bittersweet swansong to my NTU days. Bitter cos I was a bit disappointed that I got a 2nd Class Lower Honours. As I have taken too much for granted and overconfidence/complacency got the better of me, I thought I deserved another classification.

However, I soon began to wake up from my own haughty posture and turned to one that was thankful as visions of my humble beginnings where I had to pray harder than I study to avoid the infamous "tabao" plague, moments when I rejoice at even a 'D' cup grade and my not-so-glorious Yr 1 results where 'D's populated my transcript like termites on damp wood.

Come to think of it, where I am today is nothing short of a miracle. Thank You, Jesus! Thank you, Mom & Dad, Angelia, Rodger & Pauline! Thank you, every carecell member whom I've aquainted with and prayed for me! Thank You, friends in NTU whom I've attended lecture/tutorial/lab/electives/minor with! Thank You, profs and supervisors who impacted my life and broadened my knowledge! F#@k you, profs who killed my passion for some subjects or gave me shitty grades!

Rayzor's Rock-amendation:
This angst-filled number by (IMHO, the world's most talented metallers) In Flames, pretty much sums up my uni days. Days where the strongest survive while the weak eat shit and die. Haha... I have to admit I one of the weak ones, but in my own weakness, I found strength from my Lord and my loved ones. So friends, u can choose to stay bitter or get better. Rock on...

Dear NTU student,
We refer to your recent application, we regret to inform you that you have not been short listed for an interview. However, we are pleased to have your resume in our file for future reference. We would like to thank you for your interest and wish you success in your future endeavour.

This has been the story of my job-hunting so far - numerous rejections. Yes, my ego was bruised, my confidence shattered and my faith wavered. Although the battle is lost, the war is definitely not. I will persevere!

Managed to find a gem of a joke (no offence) amidst my job-hunt online. World's most demanding job? Be sure I won't apply for it! Haha...

Rayzor's Rock-amendation:
Loved the lyrics in this melodic hardcore number by James & Co. from Hatebreed. "If u don't live for something, you die for nothing!!" Hell yeah!!!
